Cheer rules are grade before age -

Flag Cheer - Kindergarden (must be 5 by Aug 1st, 2012), 1st & 2nd

Freshman Cheer - 3rd & 4th grade

JV Cheer - 5th & 6th grade

Varsity Cheer - 7th & 8th grade (cannot be 15 years old)

Football rules are-

Flag Football - Nov 2nd 2004 - Dec 31st 2007 (must be 5 by Aug 1st, 2012) - no weight limit

Freshman Football - Nov 2nd 2002 - Dec 31st 2004 - maximum weight 125 lb with full uniform, cleats, pad, no helmet

JV Football - Nov 2nd 2000 - Dec 31st 2002 - maximum weight 145 lb with full uniform, cleats, pad, no helmet

Varsity Football - Nov 2nd 1998 - Dec 31st 2000 (cannot be 14 as of Nov 1st 1998) - maximum weight 170 lb with full uniform, cleats, pad, no helmet

Clawson Maverick Football & Cheerleading Organization is looking for football & cheer coaches with
scouting skills, experience, and “SUCCESS” within a youth (ages 5 - 13) football & cheer program.   
Must have willingness to adapt to programs’ coaching philosophies and put forth efforts within the organization, outside of coaching.  This is a volunteer position for a non-profit organization.  This is a great opportunity for anyone aspiring to have a career in coaching.
